INTRO

I started writing blogs because it was a requirement at the university. We, the students, were required to read expat blogs daily and write our own - the target goal being PRACTICE. English is not my mother tongue, so I certainly do need some practice. Thus, I decided to keep it going, but eventually I turned it into a PHOTO and what-not BLOG.

And why photography? hmmm. I don't know. I can't serve a mental reason. I might have in the genes. My great grandfather built a machine which produced paper sensitive to light and got paid for it by a German company. He bought a case of books for the money he earned:) (I guess my granny, my mum and I all inherited the book mania from him as well). He had his own camera. So did my grandmother, and my mother. None of them were professional photographers (neither am I), but something kept them (keeps me) shooting away the photographs that I now keep at heart.

Being a language freak, I created another language blog here.

So, welcome to my blog of confusion and wishful thinking....:-)

Ideas and criticism WELCOME!!!!!

The selfish, they're all standing in line
Faithing and hoping to buy themselves time
Me, I figure as each breath goes by
I only own my mind

The North is to South what the clock is to time
There's east and there's west and there's everywhere life
I know I was born and I know that I'll die
The in between is mine
I am mine

And the feeling, it gets left behind
All the innocence lost at one time
Significant, behind the eyes
There's no need to hide
We're safe tonight

The ocean is full 'cause everyone's crying
The full moon is looking for friends at hightide
The sorrow grows bigger when the sorrow's denied
I only know my mind
I am mine

And the meaning, it gets left behind
All the innocents lost at one time
Significant, behind the eyes
There's no need to hide
We're safe tonight

And the feelings that get left behind
All the innocents broken with lies
Significance, between the lines
(We may need to hide)

And the meanings that get left behind
All the innocents lost at one time
We're all different behind the eyes
There's no need to hide.

  2. HEEEY there, Prof. Frank Newman. It's good to see you, even if it's via the net. Thank you very much for your tip. You have no idea how it helped. :-) In fact, I will blog about the book:-) Well, thank you so much for "making us" blog. What a wonderful practice, which also allows one to keep in touch with people. Wish you great soon-to-come holidays.
